C H I N A P A I N T I N G

is the acoustic guitar, cassette tape looping duo of Daryl Shawn and Jim Goodin.

Created in 2006 the two musicians who met via the Internet worked together defining their music via NinJam before first meeting in person in the summer of 2007. That summer they launched Chinapainting to a live audience doing the first tour of the northeast as well as recording their first in person CD, Night Blooming Cereus, in legendary Woodstock, NY.

Chinapainting has since performed at several recognized national venues as well as festivals which have included the Y2K International Live Looping festival and Ingenuity Fest.
